4 weeks!!

My due date is four weeks from tomorrow! I have mixed feelings about the time I have left. Yes, I still have to finish his room, purchase a stroller and some other items, and decide on a middle name :), but I am ready to have my baby here. I think it will still be surreal even when I first hold him that we're having another individual in our family! Not just "a baby", he'll be our son who we will love for who he is. Matt doesn't quite know what is going on. He knows Baby Ryan is hiding in Mommy's tummy. He told me one day my tummy was "Baby Ryan's house". He's going to be a good big brother though, maybe even help a little too much. ;) I'm not looking forward to going through labor again! I'm hoping it will be easier this time than with Matt. I'm also hoping I go before 39 weeks. Matt was 8lbs 7ozs and he was almost a week early! This baby feels just as big for sure so if I went forty weeks, I don't know how I'd have him. Thirty seven weeks is "full term", so I'm hoping I hit that mark and then have my baby, we'll see. I will do anything I have to though to have my baby here and healthy, that's my first priority. Anyone interested in going for walks let me know because I'm sure I'll will be walking A LOT! I might also utilize my parents' trampoline ;) jk. Anyway, so excited to be able to cuddle my little baby soon!!

Friend Christmas Party

We had our annual friend Christmas party Friday. It was fun, we had chalupas, watched our annual "slideshow", and gave our gifts to eachother. Matt and Alice had a lot of fun together. They danced and giggled and ran back and forth from Matt's room to the family room.

We got a new car. It's an 03 Silver Ford Explorer. I love that it has rear air!! That way my baby won't get too hot in the summer. It has a third row, but it isn't too big for me to drive. We really like it. Matt called it "fun car". Probably because he can see out of it better and there is a dvd player. We sold our truck a while back and traded in our Altima. This will take place of both. :) Now to just get Dev a commuter car with a heater that works....

* Matt started saying "love you hon". Now he calls me hon a lot. "Sorry hon", "more hon", etc.

* He's learned the word "lost" and applies it when someone isn't around. He has a book where Little Critter's mom gets lost at the mall. Yesterday we were looking for Dev at church and he says "Daddy lost mall"

* He tells people "'mon!" when he wants them to go with him

* He likes having his basketball when Devon has his. He will make Devon carry his around while Matt carries his and get mad if Dev tries to put it down. It's so funny. He has even slept with it. One day Devon was going to basketball and Matt was going with me somewhere and he saw Dev with his basketball stuff and got his basketball and said, "Too! Too! See ya Mommy"

* Speaking of basketball, he put some little basketballs in the play oven and said, "hot balls".

* He loves to sing and has used the mega blocks as microphones. The cutest is when he makes up his own songs.

* Dev was lying in Matt's bed with him at bedtime telling him a story or something. Matt says, "night, sleep tight", then gets off the bed to go play.

* "more" is "mo", "nurn" means "turn", he used to say "ya-yee" for "sorry", now he says "sorry", "eww, dose!" means, "eww, gross!"
* "hure" is "sure"

* He still LOVES animals

*Matt had a blast trick~or~treating!

*He ran to keep up with his cousin Livi from house to house.

*He knows which candies are Reese's and picked those out frequently :)

*He was a cute pirate and would say "argg mimi (matey)". At the ward party he wanted to carry his play cell phone more than his sword :)

*We visited grandparents and friends. Matt got special treats from Grandmas and Grandpas.

*He would put his hat on the floor and put his head down to put it on, lol.

*Unfortunately he knows the word "treat" and asks for them frequently so I don't get to eat all his candy :( Oh well, probably for the better!

Valentine's!!

We had a great Valentine's Day! We were spoiled by our parents and grandparents. Grandma and Grandpa B gave us frosted cookies, frosted fortune cookies and divinity. My parents gave us Reese's, treats, and a really cute heart shaped plate. Grandma and Grandpa S gave us a card and moola. Matthew was spoiled with treats and a little book from my parents. Grandma and Grandpa S gave him a fun book and card, he loves cards for some reason. We gave him a balloon and little M&M fan. Devon got me new snow pants and I got him ice cream and something for his bike. Valentine's night we got pizza and had sparkling cider. We went out to dinner Tuesday cause we figured it would be less crowded. So much fun!

My grandma always gets Matthew cute little outfits with moose on them to wear to the cabin. I found these jammies for 4 bucks! They are so cute, fitting for the cabin and so comfy! They reminded me of my grandma. :) Matthew didn't end up wearing them at the cabin, but I'm sure he'll have other opportunities.

Snow Shoeing

We went to my grandpa's cabin this weekend. We had to snowshoe in and snowshoe part of the way out. We had a lot of fun. Our friends, Matt and Camille came too. We played games, ate, read, I did a puzzle and I also snowboarded a bit. The first night we had the stoked the fire too much, it was hot! We did better the next night. The boys shot their guns, it was Devon's first time trying his new gun. Dev took Matthew on the sled. We all had fun playing in the snow. I was so excited to snowboard. It was nice to board again, it's been years since I last did it. Matthew was so good. He was good in the sled and he was very happy and had so much fun at the cabin. All in all, it was such a nice weekend to enjoy the outdoors and relax in the cabin.

15 Months

My little boy had his fifteen month check up yesterday. He weighs 22 pounds(25th percentile) and is 32 inches tall(80th percentile). He is healthy and happy. He is so much fun right now. Matthew loves to play and laugh. We love having our sweet boy :)

So instead of writing in my journal, I'm going to type it on the computer and put exerpts(umm can't think of spelling right now) on my blog so I'm not doing double duty. (okay not that I've been writing lately anyway) Here we go, a little catching up: Oh my, Matthew is at such a fun age! He is walking/running all over, giggly, troublesome, and cute! We love him so much. Last night for New Year’s Eve we were pretty boring and just stayed at home. We watched a few episodes of Psych, watched The Lovely Bones(weird movie) and played Rummikub. It was actually fun just being home and being together. We had a great Christmas, Devon got a Sig Sauer 9 mm for his birthday/Christmas/Father’s Day, etc present. I got a straightener, Itunes gift card, shirt and my favorite perfume, Heavenly. Matthew got a cute little play laptop, a jeep to ride on, a book and a few other odds and ends. Grandparents and parents spoiled us with clothes, gift cards, etc. The baby got tons of fun toys. He also got a Deron Williams jersey. We are very blessed. I am pretty sure I’ve written since this, but we are now in our new home. We LOVE it! Devon is constantly working on things in the house and outside. He loves having a garage. We went out with some friends (Rachel and Josh Ball, Britt and Tyler Cornia) for lunch yesterday to Olive Garden. It was fun, we hadn’t seen them in awhile. I am teaching at a new gym now that is very close to my house. It’s called Academy West, I’m really excited to teach there. I still coach at Gymcats sometimes, but it is much further away. Oh and fun! My mom and I went to get my nails done as a Christmas present to me :)

24th of July

We wanted to do something fun on the 24th of July. We were going to go to Liberty Park to see the fireworks, but there were expected to be close to 50000 people and that didn't interest us. We looked up events going on and ended up going to Butlerville days. What in the world is Butlerville days!?! It ended up being way fun. It was in Cottonwood Heights. They had all sorts of activities, balloon animals, face painting, fireworks, etc. We had Matthew's face painted, mostly so I could take his picture :) We met up with our friends, Lars and Jen and their little girls. Matthew and Taylee had fun wrestling. We watched the fireworks and they were awesome. It was a good show and really long too. Here's some pics to enjoy! Happy Pioneer Day!

Bear Lake

Over the weekend of the 4th we went to Bear Lake with Matt, Camille, Dan, and Elise. We stayed in Matt's cabin. We played at the beach, went into town for shakes, played games, watched movies, read, etc. We had a lot of fun! We also had a cake for Devon's birthday on the 4th and did sparklers. St. George and Vegas!!

Devon's friend Jared got married this past weekend. He lives in Vegas so we decided to make a vacation out of it. We stayed with our friends Tricia and Jeth. We had sooo much fun! We got there late Thursday night. Friday we went to Cafe Rio, shopped the outlets, visited a senior missionary from Dev's mission, watched a movie and worked on a puzzle, ate enchiladas and went swimming! It was Matthew's first time swimming. The water was really cold so he didn't swim long. He sat with Devon the rest of the time, but it was hillarious cause he puts his hands behind his head when he is relaxing, sleeping, etc. So cute!! Saturday we woke up and had pancakes. We drove to Vegas. Did some shopping, walked from the Fashion Show Mall down to MGM, then back down the other side. We just enjoyed shopping and looking at the sites. We then went to Jared's wedding. After we had Arby's then drove back to Tricia's. Sunday morning we had Crepes, watched Iron Man, then headed home. We had a blast! Such a fun trip!

Devon graduated from the U this past week with his Bachelors and Masters!! He is now a Mechanical Engineer!! So proud of him. He was offered a full time position where he has been interning at L3 Communications. Devon, I'm so proud of what a hard worker you are and how very smart you are. Love you and Congratulations!!!!

6 Month Check Up

Matthew and I went to his six month appointment Friday. He's doing well. He weighs about seventeen and a half pounds and is twenty eight inches long. He is in the ninetieth percentile for his height, twenty fifth for head, and fortieth for weight. He is blabbing so much now, it's so fun. He makes this growling sound that is so cute! He also loves playing with his tongue. He is a "Momma's boy". We love having him in our family!

Easter!!!

We had such a wonderful Easter! It was so nice to have Conference on Easter weekend. In our Easter baskets, Dev gave me treats and I gave him a little bit of candy and a clue to his big present at the end of the year. The clue is "E". He's foregoing his presents throughout the year cause I'm getting him something he will LOVE for Christmas!! Matthew got a bouncy ball which he loves!! He also got a stacker, binkies, an egg and a new outfit. He was so excited as I'd hand him the things from his basket. We went to Grandma Griffins for an Easter egg hunt Saturday. Matthew got to hunt for some eggs, he mostly wanted to suck on them, it was adorable. It was fun. My parents gave him a bubble blowing gun and The Foot Book. Grandma and Grandpa Butterfield gave him a stuffed bunny. My parents gave Dev and I our favorite candy bars, candy and a Training Table gift card. My Grandma and Grandpa Sandquist gave us all sorts of candy and marshmallow eggs and gave the baby a chocolate bunny. Sunday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Sandquists'. Matthew and I went shopping and to dinner with my mom while the boys went to the Priesthood Conference. The rest of the weekend we watched conference and just relaxed at home together.

Weekend Cabin Trip!

Last weekend we went up to the cabin. We had called ahead to make sure the road was open since it was so early in the year. We were told it was, but it might be muddy. Well, we figured that we could conquer a little mud if we had to. We started up the road and it was just fine. After driving a little the road suddenly was covered with snow. We started over it and got stuck. We had a fun time trying to dig the tires out with branches, lol! The main part of the road was packed, but we had gotten a little to the edge which sunk really far down. I decided to walk to the cabin and get a shovel. It was about a mile up the road, boy did it seem like longer though :) Either because I was out of shape or cause I was trudging through snow, or both! The driveway down to the cabin was to my knees! The snow was almost to the railing! Anyway, when I got to the cabin I had to go to the bathroom so bad!! The water wasn't turned on yet and I wasn't sure how to flush the toilet without the water on. I was able to get service here and there so I called my dad. He told me to pour water into the tank. I started walking to the stream. I used the shovel to help me stay on top of the snow or help me out when I sank :) Anyway it was hard to get to the stream so I used my brilliant mind and decided to melt snow to put in the tank lol. Snow takes a long time to melt haha. I was so worried about Dev, Mimi and the baby, but I couldn't leave the cabin in it's current state in case we decided to turn around and go back home. There was a guy who drove by on a four wheeler and asked if I wanted a ride to my husband. I told him I had to get things together at the cabin first. He went down and picked up Matthew, Mimi and Devon and our stuff. So sweet of him. He helped Devon get the truck out and park it off the road. He lent us his four wheeler(Rhino) so we could pick up our friends that night. He was such a sweet guy! Dev picked up Dan, Elise and Matt later that night. After that it was smooth sailing. We had a lot of fun! Spent a ton of the weekend just having conversations. Watched a movie, played games and enjoyed being snowed in! We love being able to use the cabin!

At our house lately it's been basketball, basketball basketball! :) Here are some pics of our family enjoying the NCAA...

We went shooting with our friends on Saturday. Devon and I were early so we went looking for some yard sales on the way there. Unfortunately we didn't find any.(if it's sunny and a Saturday there should be yard sales!!! I love them!!) We did enjoy looking at houses and pointing out the ones we liked and didn't like. We shot for a couple hours. I am definitely a hand gun fan! They are much more fun to me plus not as heavy to hold up. Matthew did pretty well with the noise, the biggest guns scared him but he did just fine most of the time. After we went to Devon's grandma's, then Kid to Kid. (Love that store) Chilled and watched more basketball at my parents' the rest of the night.

One more thing, I decided I'm going to learn to play the piano. I want to gain more knowledge about all sorts of things while I'm home. I don't want to just sit around and watch tv or play on the computer all day.(when I'm not taking care of the baby) My dad sold my electric guitar and I'm going to buy a keyboard with the money. I started reading a book for adults on playing the piano...here I go, wish me luck :)

Update: Nothing out of the ordinary, just enjoying our baby and Devon is so so close to finishing his thesis! Yay!!

4 Month Check Up

Matthew had his four month check up today. He weighs fifteen pounds and I'm pretty sure he was twenty six inches long. He is in the ninetieth percentile for height and fiftieth for his head circumference and weight. So he's tall for his age, where could he get that from...?? :) He had to have his immunizations today which are not fun for me or him, but he did well. All in all the doctor said he was "perfect". I can't ask for more, I'm so blessed to have such a healthy, happy baby. Oh, and here's a cute picture of him. It's from another day, but he's cute so I'm putting it up. :)

Valentine's!!!

Happy Valentine's Day! We had an amazing Valentine's Eve and Day! We went out to eat with my parents and little brother at TGI Fridays. Yummy. My Valentine's present is a new ring!!! I'm so excited, we bought it last night and can pick it up Friday. If you didn't know, my ring was lost in Utah Lake a year and a half ago :( Devon got doritos and reeses from me. Doesn't sound like much, but after my ring, he only wanted a nerds rope :) Matthew got a little whale tub toy and rice cereal from us. My parents gave Matthew a cute onesie, pants, and bubbles. My Grandma gave him a little card and gave us really cute Valentine's bowls with yummy treats in them. Grandma and Grandpa Sandquist gave us cards with money and a teddy bear for Matthew. Grandma Newman gave me a cute Valentine's basket with goodies. Today we started a tradition of a Valentine's Day breakfast. It was yummy and I'm excited to continue it as we have more kids and they get older. We had an amazing night/day and I'm so lucky to have my two Valentines.

Matthew has been waking up about every three hours on the dot to eat even during the night. He's almost four months so we decided to try out rice cereal to fill up his tummy more. Matthew Devon Newman was blessed on January 3rd, 2010. Devon blessed him and did a beautiful job. He was so worried, not because of all the people, but because he wanted to make sure not to let Matthew down and give him everything he needs in his blessing. It was so sweet. It was a beautiful blessing, Matthew was lucky to have about fourteen people in his circle who love him so much! After we had a nice lunch with friends and family. Thanks to everyone for your help, love, and support!

Alright, I do not update my blog enough, but hopefully I can start doing better. I'd like to blog about the little things that go on, but it seems I do it so infrequently I end up writing a book about what has gone on since last writing. So here we go, today's topic, Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas! It was Matthew's first. He was super spoiled!! We had so much fun. His stocking was about the same size as him. Some fun gifts he received were; a play gym, a little camping chair, a plush toolbox, dum-dums, books, bath toys, clothes, a blanket and even more! We spent Christmas and Christmas Eve running around like usual even though we said we weren't going to do it now that we have a baby. But that's what happens when you have so much family nearby. We're very lucky. I wouldn't trade it. Dev and I were both very spoiled as well this year. We had an amazing 2009! We were so so blessed and we're continuing to be blessed in 2010. Love our life!

Fun, Fun, Fun!

Cute little Halloween Monkey!!

Wow! We have so many new things going on! We're very very blessed. Dev just got a new job with L-3 Communications! He'll be making more money plus getting benefits as an intern! My sweet little boy is five weeks today! It goes by too fast. Devon got a new calling, he's the Young Men's President! With that, work and school, he's very very busy! He doesn't get to play with the baby as much as he'd like, but he's finding little ways. The other day he was reading his textbook to Matthew, haha! He also got a new truck! A '99 F150! He is way excited! We're just loving having Matthew in our family, he is so adorable. We're very happy.

Our Life Lately

I have not blogged for a while! We've had a lot of fun things going on lately. Devon celebrated his 25th birthday. For Father's Day/Devon's birthday I sent him on a scavenger hunt using Brad Paisley song lyrics and at the end he found out his present was tickets to the Brad Paisley concert. I planned a surprise party for him, it was really fun. We played volleyball, ate, played yahtzee, danced and watched fireworks. We have such great friends and family. It was just a great night. We also went on our annual trip with our friends. This year we didn't go to Fish Lake like usual. We went to Devon's cabin. We had lots of fun playing games, eating, swimming, eating, fishing, eating oh and did I mention eating?? :) I'll try and get pics up of all these fun events :) In the baby department I am now closing in on 29 weeks! Crazy how slow and fast it goes at the same time! We bought new carpet for the baby's room, we're just waiting for it to be installed. Then we can get the crib up, decorate, etc. Everything is going great so far with the baby. The doctor says everything is looking good! Yay! Sad, but still fun, Sean left for the mtc yesterday. He is going to do awesome! I'm going to miss him, but I am so excited for him. That about sums up the past little bit of our life in a nutshell. We're doing great, oh! We celebrated our three year anniversary! We went to the Styx concert for our anniversary present and went out for our anniversary. All in all, we're doing great! :)

We had our ultrasound on Tuesday morning! It's a boy! We're really excited! His name is going to be Matthew Devon Newman. :) It's so fun to actually get to buy stuff now that I know the gender and we're getting the nursury ready to paint, so fun! Four and a half months doesn't seem like a long time to me, I have a lot to do!! :) I love his little foot! It's so cute! (The pics are from my phone so they're not too great sorry, we need to get a camera!!!)

Life lately with the Newmans!

Well, there are so many fun things happening in our life lately! To start off, baby update! I am seventeen weeks today! In sixteen days we find out what we're having! I had a doctor's appointment this past week and everything is looking good. I got to hear the heartbeat and also see the baby on the mini ultrasound. It was so cute.

This weekend Devon went to Washington and Oregon to race the Baja car that he and his team built for their senior project. Here are some pics of the car he built and the other car they took up from last year. I'm so proud of him, he's so smart and talented.

I stayed at my parents most of the time. Friday night I scrapbooked with my aunts. Saturday morning I went to Jazzercise with my mom. After, we went to Blake's soccer game. Wow, watch out, he is amazing! I sure hope he plays in high school because he is great at it. My dad took my mom and I to lunch for Mother's Day. We went to Goodwood! Mmm.....Yummy! My mom and I scrapbooked a little after we got home. That night I went over to Matt's house. He cooked us(Dan, Elise, his date and his roommates) chicken and potatoes in the dutch oven. We ate outside on blankets, so nice to have good enough weather to do that. Today was my first Mother's Day! My gifts from Devon haven't come yet, I picked them out of a catalog and asked him if he wanted to buy them for me. :) My mom gave me a fun little kit for the hospital complete with a nightgown, gum, socks, etc. My grandma gave me a cute bar of soap. I'm so excited to be a mom! I'm also so excited for Dev to get home. He gets home tomorrow!!!

Fun week

This week we got a new car! It's a 2006 Nissan Altima. We're so excited to have a four door car for our baby. It's very roomy. I had a great day on Tuesday. Dev and I went to the doctors and got to hear the baby's heartbeat! It was such a relief to me and so neat. After, we were at home and were looking through the drawer for stamps and found a Cafe Rio card with four stamps on it! I looked in my purse and I had exactly ten stamps so I had a free Cafe Rio meal for lunch!!! At my work we get surveys back concerning how well we helped the members and I got a bonus of $25.00! Yay! Friday night we went on a date with Matt and Dasha. It was fun, we ate at Olive Garden and went to Fatcats after and played pool and bowled. Anyway everything is going really well for us. We gave eachother Easter baskets yesterday. I gave Devon boring things; deoderant and chapstick. I did also give him candy and fishing lures to make up for it. He got me new socks which I needed soooo badly! He also gave me pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, reeses, chips and nacho cheese and fruit leathers. :) We went to my parents first. My brothers got electronic monopoly so we played that for a while. My mom and dad gave me and Dev an Easter basket with Reeses pieces, Sprite, candy, moola, and a cute PINK bag of resess for the baby and a cute BLUE Easter bunny for the baby. I will try to get pics up. We went to my Grandma Butterfield's house for an Easter egg hunt. We had a barbeque and enjoyed our time not having to be out in the cold with the kids, it will be soon enough, lol. My Grandma bought these cute sacs for "bunny hop" races. It was hillarious. We also went to Grandma Newman's house, had some food and visited with everyone. It was fun cause it's been a while since we've seen them. All in all, a great week. :)

New Boat!

For those of you that don't know, Devon is very into buying boats and fixing them up. We had a really fun little yellow boat last year that we enjoyed so much! It was a great investment and such a fun thing to do on weekends. We sold it during the winter and this year, we looked for an upgrade. We found it! It needs a lot of work, but that's been part of the fun. Devon and Matt have been using the spare time they have to work on the wiring and order seats and carpet and vinyl. They just bought a motor for it which should come next week! I imagine we'll be out on the water by Saturday knowing them :)
The fun features we're excited about:
1. Open bow!!! I love being in the bow of a boat, our last one was closed. Wahoo! So excited.
2. Bigger! Our last boat fit about four adults comfortably. This one should very easily fit 6+!
3. We could wakeboard on our old boat, but not tube. This one we can tube too!

P.S. Ten weeks tomorrow! We're so excited for our baby!

First Appointment

We had our first doctor's appointment today! He said that everything is looking great! We also got to see the baby and heartbeat again on the mini ultrasound machine! We're so grateful everything is going well!

Exciting News!!

Devon and I are so excited! We are going to have a baby in October!! I'm due October 18th. Two days before my birthday. I woke up early and couldn't sleep and told Devon that I wanted to take a pregnancy test. Luckily we had one at home. I looked at the stick and got so excited cause I could see the second line. Dev didn't believe me at first, but I kept telling him, it's there, it's there!! Finally he believed me. We were so so excited! Of course I did the Jessi thing and had to go get another test! We headed off to Albertson's and found out they don't open until six. There we are in whatever clothes we could throw on waiting outside Alberton's at five fifty six in the morning. The second test confirmed it and we are just so thrilled. I called my doctor and went in for a blood test that day. They monitored my blood for the next few days to make sure my levels were rising. Once they reached about 2000,(5 1/2 weeks) we had our first ultrasound. They could see the sac was in the right place, but couldn't see the baby yet so we had to wait around ten more days. When we were seven weeks along we had another ultrasound. We got to see our little itty bitty baby and it's heart beating!! I was just so happy it was in the right place! We told our parents and a few people for different reasons around five weeks and told our close friends and family yesterday.(8 weeks!) My mom is so excited to be a grandma! She got us some cute little white onesies and a willow tree statue with a mom and dad and baby. It's so cute! Devon is just so excited to start on the nursery. He already has plans of how he wants it to look. I picked out an armoire and dresser that I liked and he's already started building them. We are so so excited to have a new addition to our family!!

We had a murder mystery party last night! It was so much fun. We ate ribs and "funeral" potatoes. Our friends Dan and Elise, Mark and Kellie, and Matt and Kristy all came. The costumes were fantastic! We had a blast!

New Job!!

Devon is going to school for mechanical engineering, he has about a year and a half left and then he'll be done with his masters. We have been so blessed with grants and tuition reimbursement and many things just working out right so he could go to school. Today he got offered an internship that is really close to our home and will also be a three dollar pay raise!! He is such a hard worker and so smart, we are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for blessing us so much!!

Snowbird

Well, the past couple weeks have been fun and busy for us. We went on our yearly trip to Snowbird with my mom's side of the family. It's so much fun! We all go up whenever we can during the week and just relax, eat, swim, eat, play games, eat, etc. On Sunday usually everyone comes and we have dinner together and play bingo. My grandma also makes a quilt every year and draws out the name of a family or individual who gets the "Snowbird Quilt" for that year. She also has a jar of candies to guess every year and the winner gets a Snowbird t-shirt. We usually celebrate the October birthdays as well. Lucky for me, I get to celebrate mine up there! I was spoiled by my family. They're the best! We went on the tram this year, but it was so snowy and cold at the top it we pretty much got off the tram and then right back on again. :) During that time Blake(my brother) managed to fall and hit his face and knee on the stairs. He had a nice bruise for quite a few days. PS I know I blab, but I don't want to worry about making it sound good, I'm just writing my memories, hopefully it's not too boring ;) Anyway, I worked as a substitute teacher and it was UEA so I got to come up a few extra days to Snowbird which was great. My brother Sean and I stayed up late doing puzzles and we even went to the gym one day! It was fun spending some time with him, it's been a while since we have gotten to hang out alone together. Snowbird is such a fun memory for us. When the fall weather starts, "It smells like Snowbird"

One Saturday Dev and I didn't have anything to do and no money ;) so we decided it would be fun to go to the canyon with Mimi(our puppy) and take some pictures together. The road was blocked, so we decided to go to Wheeler Farm. Sadly, I didn't really get the pics I wanted, but we had a blast and I'm posting the pics we did take. Mimi was hillarious with the animals!!

Classic Me

Well, we might as well get to know me right now. The other night it was my first time ever going to Gold's Gym. I was in my workout attire, had my ipod in my pocket, my pass, and my husband. I was good to go. Walking in I was honestly a little nervous, but then I heard a song that I love from Hairspray which made me feel a lot better. We went in and walked around a bit. I really enjoyed the music that was on while we were walking, but I needed to get in my zone so I pulled out my ipod getting ready to go into my own little world when I realized the music I had been hearing was from my ipod! No wonder I loved it so much lol. And that ladies and gentleman is a classic Jessi moment. :)

Gold's Gym

Devon got passes to Gold's Gym from his work. We have to pay eight dollars each, but we get reimbursed one dollar every time we go. It's a great incentive for us to go, sixteen dollars can practically buy us a dinner at Cafe Rio!!! It was so fun to go together, Devon made me work hard. I think it will be a good thing for us to do together and get in amazing shape as well. :)
